Kathy is the CEO and founder of movemindfully® a training and consulting company that brings the science of mindfulness, movement, and social-emotional learning into educational, therapeutic, and home environments. Kathy holds a master’s degree in social work and is a registered yoga teacher with over 30 years of experience guiding individuals to integrate simple mind-body practices into their life. Kathy teaches movemindfully sessions in crisis mental health hospital units, outpatient programs, juvenile services, special education, and school settings. Kathy’s Energy Medicine Yoga® classes integrate acupressure, tapping, and yoga-based movement for physical, emotional, and mental health. All levels are welcome.

Winged Heart Yoga provides inclusive, low-cost classes integrating Energy Medicine Yoga with practical mind-body skills from I Am Safe. These sessions are designed for all abilities and support people seeking nervous system regulation, stress-management, or a place to reconnect with themselves. Each class provides accessible practices you can use in your daily life—and share with others—as part of your commitment to community mental health. Attend in-person or online. Chrissy Mignogna is director of education and lead trainer for movemindfully, a Minnesota-based company that supports mental health professionals, educators, youth workers, and families seeking to integrate trauma-responsive mind-body practices into their personal and professional lives. Chrissy teaches movemindfully sessions in crisis mental health hospital units, outpatient programs, juvenile services, special education, and Head Start. In addition to her work with movemindfully, Chrissy offers community-based classes both in person and online through her own business, Winged Heart Yoga. Her mission has always been to promote mental health by creating welcoming, safe, and inclusive spaces for people to explore how to use their mind-body connection for healing.
