Sometimes even the most thoughtful interventions with children and youth in distress don’t work as planned, even making situations worse and causing frustration for both the child and the helper.

In this 75-minute workshop participants will work with Moving Mountains: An Integrative Manual to Help Youth with Intensity, Reactivity, and Anxiety to assess a child’s zone of agitation and to effectively intervene using a wide range of mind-body strategies. Participants will create their own tool kit of interventions to immediately put into practice.
