Participants

Once you have experienced the movemindfully Breathe Move Rest strategies (through a training, class, workshop, or with our products), you have started your journey with us!

Champions

By encouraging consistent integration of movemindfully practices throughout the day in your organization/school, you move from movemindfully Participant to movemindfullyChampion. A commitment to promoting Breathe Move Rest practices for self-regulation, community connection, and overall well-being is the next step on your path. As a movemindfully Champion you are the primary contact in your organization/school.

Ambassadors

movemindfully Ambassadors are stewards of Breathe Move Rest practices in their communities. Ambassadors include adults and youth who advocate and share these simple trauma-responsive mind-body practices in their unique settings.

Apprentices

movemindfully Apprentices complete the movemindfully Foundation Trainings. After these trainings they need to complete 20 hours of practice teaching in the community (this can be done as volunteers, with youth or faith groups, or with family members). They then can begin the movemindfully Apprenticeship program. During the Apprenticeship Program, apprentices are paired with a movemindfully Instructor to shadow for 10 hours, both observing and practice teaching in Residencies.Upon completion of the Apprenticeship program, apprentices are ready to take the next step on the path to becoming a movemindfully Instructor.

School Residency Instructors

School Residency Instructors complete the movemindfully Foundation Trainings, the movemindfully Apprenticeship Program, and the movemindfully School Residency Training. movemindfully instructors are placed in schools where they facilitate school residencies to teach Breathe Move Rest practices both in-person and virtually.

Therapeutic Instructors

Therapeutic Instructors hold a 200-hour Yoga Certification, have completed the movemindfully  Foundation Trainings, the movemindfully Apprenticeship Program, and the movemindfully Therapeutic Training. movemindfully instructors teach in hospitals, juvenile services, and other therapeutic settings both in-person and virtually.

Trainers

movemindfully Trainers are Residency Instructors who have worked for at least a year in a school or therapeutic setting and have completed the movemindfully Trainer program. movemindfully Trainers can deliver Introduction to movemindfully workshops (both in-person and virtually) in their areas of expertise.

Master Trainers

movemindfully Master Trainers hold a 200-hour Yoga Certification and have a minimum of three years as movemindfully trainer. In addition, Master Trainers complete a minimum of 50 hours of supervision and commit to at least 20 hours of continuing education throughout the year. Master Trainers lead Foundation Trainings and movemindfully Consultation sessions (both in-person and virtually).
