“There’s a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in” - Leonard Cohen. Try this mindfulness to explore letting the light in - audio via link in bio or follow along here: Find a comfortable position where you feel safe and supported. Stretch your body in any way that feels good. Come into stillness and breathe slowly as you give yourself a break in the day.

Read this statement with both your mind and your heart: “There’s a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.” Where do you feel these words in your body?

Think of something that feels like it is cracking open or falling apart. Notice how your body feels when you think about this situation.

What big emotions are coming up? Meet any big feelings with kindness and compassion. For example, “I see you fear. I see you worry. I see you anger.” As you say these words, imagine a light shining into the cracks of this situation.

Welcome any big emotions with Inner Resource ACCEPTANCE (“I can be here now just as I am”). Notice how you feel as you let light into the cracks of this experience.

Reflect on this statement: “There’s a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.” How would it feel to trust that what is falling apart or breaking open is inviting you to receive support from others? Or to trust yourself more? Or to allow yourself to feel the power of vulnerability? Or to come together stronger in community. Notice how it feels to let the light in.

Give yourself a break in the day. Allow yourself to breathe slowly for a few breaths.

Think of a decision that is present in your life where you may be experiencing some hesitancy or confusion about what to do.

Just notice, don’t analyze. Visualize what it would look (and feel like) to lean hard into a new direction. Is it leaning hard into thinking in a new way or leaning hard into taking the next best small step or leaning hard into doing less?

What does it look like? What does it feel like? Continue leaning hard in as you take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the possibility of taking action in a new direction.

When you are ready, stretch your body in any way that feels good. #mindfulness #movemindfullyconnect

What are you not saying yes to? Listen to this mindfulness practice via link in bio or read here: Find a position where you feel safe and supported. Notice any areas of your body that need to stretch. Stretch in any way that feels good.

Bring to mind a joyful activity you are not saying “YES” to (Pause). Ask yourself, “What am I not saying ‘YES’ to?”

Practice saying “YES” to this activity. Let your whole body imagine saying “YES.” What would it look and feel like if you said “YES?”

Notice the impact this is having on your mind, body, and heart. Saying “YES” creates a feeling/energetic pattern in your body. You might feel a sense of excitement, ease, and/or joy.

Notice how your body feels when you say “YES.” If you’d like, try saying “YES” out loud right now.

When you are ready, stretch your body in any way that feels good.

As you move throughout the day, allow yourself to say “YES” to YOU. #mindfulness #movemindfullyconnect
