About the author

Chrissy Mignogna is director of education and lead trainer for movemindfully, a Minnesota-based company that supports mental health professionals, educators, youth workers, and families seeking to integrate trauma-responsive mind-body practices into their personal and professional lives. Chrissy teaches movemindfully sessions in crisis mental health hospital units, outpatient programs, juvenile services, special education, and Head Start.

In addition to her work with movemindfully, Chrissy offers community-based classes both in person and online through her own business, Winged Heart Yoga. Her mission has always been to promote mental health by creating welcoming, safe, and inclusive spaces for people to explore how to use their mind-body connection for healing.
