Do you need to reconnect to your strength? Listen to this mindfulness practice (link in bio) or follow along here: Come to a standing position. Take a wider stance and feel your feet on the floor. Spread your toes apart and feel the soles of your shoes. Press down and allow your spine to lengthen.

Rest your arms at your sides with palms turned upward. Step into your strength, feeling grounded and open. Connect to your breath and let it guide you inside. Notice the strength in your breath.

Bring your attention to your center. Is your center in your heart or in your belly? Breathe into your center.

Bring to mind a time in your life when you felt strong. (Pause). Take a moment to stand in that strength — physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Allow your strength to come to the surface, expressed in an affirmation. Maybe say to yourself, “I am strong,” or “I am open,” or “I am powerful.” Connect to your inner strength.

Find a seated position. Feel your feet on the floor. Breathe into your strength again. See yourself strong in a variety of situations responding from the wisdom of your heart. Think or say to yourself once more, “I am strong,” or “I am open,” or “I am powerful.” Connect to your inner strength.

When you are ready, stretch your body in any way that feels good. #mindfulness #movemindfullyconnect

"I'm not okay, and that is okay." Listen to the Pause at link in bio (or follow along below). Can you allow yourself to be "not okay?" Take a moment to ask your body what it needs in this moment. Where would it feel more supported? In the chair? On the floor? Lying down? Move to where your body will feel supported fully.

Connect your breath as it is in your body. Let your breath guide you inside — just breathing in and breathing out.

Think of a time when you weren’t OK. Maybe it’s now, or maybe in the past. See if you can fully be with that feeling of not being OK. What does not being OK want you to know right now? What does not being OK need right now?

Imagine that not being OK is actually a really strong part of you that has been trying to get your attention for a long time. At this moment, what does it want you to know? What is it wanting you to do or say?

Return to your breath. Breathing in, say to yourself, “I know I’m breathing in.” Breathing out, say to yourself, “I know I’m breathing out.”

Imagine telling someone how you really are when they ask. Imagine what it would look like and feel like to give yourself permission to be authentic.

Acknowledge the importance of listening to this part of you that does not feel OK. Sometimes naming and claiming your truth can allow you to truly feel and heal.

When’s the last time you really listened to your

When’s the last time you really listened to your body? Listen to this week’s guided practice at link in bio or follow along here: Find a comfortable position. Notice how just stopping and feeling your feet on the floor can be a game changer. Just give yourself a break.

Let your breath guide you inside as you breathe slowly. Scan your body head to toe. Notice how you feel. What is your body communicating to you right now? What does your body want and need?

Notice what is surfacing at this moment. Give yourself space and time to notice. What is your body communicating to you right now?

How can you meet your body where it is right now? For example, if you are tired, try placing your palms on your forehead allowing yourself to rest. Or if you feel a lot of anxious energy, try swinging your arms for a moment and then rest.

If you are feeling worried, try giving yourself a loose hug as you slowly sway.

If your body is feeling tense and angry, squeeze all your muscles tight and slowly release them.

What does your body need at this moment? Give yourself time right now to meet your body where it is.

Now, shift your attention back to your breath and notice how your body is feeling right now. Are there any changes? How does it feel to meet your body on its terms, attending to what it needs in the moment? We know if we continue to ignore our body’s messages, over time, it will move from ease to dis-ease.

Take a moment now to make a commitment to your body, you can think or say quietly, “Your messages and needs are important. I will listen to you.”

When you are ready, find a stretch that feels good in your body.

As you move throughout the day, take time to listen to what your body needs and meet your body where it is, knowing sometimes it is a whisper and sometimes it is a roar. See what’s possible when you pause and respond. #movemindfullyconnect #mindfulness #mentalhealth

Moving your body impacts how you feel. You can listen to the Pause at link in bio or try the practice below:
Find a comfortable position where you feel supported and at ease. Allow your eyes to soften or close as you give yourself a break in your day.

Give yourself a moment to truly step out and pause. Breathe slowly. If you want, as you breathe in, say to yourself, “I know I’m breathing in.” And as you’re breathing out, say to yourself, “I know I’m breathing out.” Breathing in, “I know I’m breathing in.” Breathing out, “I know I’m breathing out.”

Notice what emotions are present right now. How are you feeling at this moment? Take a moment to bring your attention to your shoulders and allow your shoulders to move back and in, giving room for the front of your body.

Imagine you have a string on your collar bone that is allowing your heart to lift a little. Notice if this changes your breathing or how you are feeling at this moment.

Notice what it is like to turn your palms open, allowing your shoulders to move back a little more, giving even more space for your heart. Notice your breathing. Notice your thinking. Notice any emotions shifting.

Lift your arms up overhead, lengthening your spine. Allow your heart to open even more. See what it is like to gaze up.

Lower your arms and breathe slowly. Lift your arms up over your head again, finding more length in your spine. Allow your heart to shine.

Release your arms and notice any shifts in your breathing, your thinking, and/or your emotional state.

Put a soft smile on your face. Just let yourself be. Notice how a soft smile can change your thoughts and feelings.

Stretch in a way that feels good as you get ready to return to your day.

As you move throughout the day and find yourself stuck in ways of thinking that don’t serve you, see if you can create a mind-body connection to change how you think and feel.
