I Am Safe Training Recap:

Our I Am Safe training on June 25 was an inspiring and energizing community event, rooted in advancing public mental health advocacy and activism—both professionally and personally. Grounded in neuroscience, the I Am Safe framework for self-regulation and practical mind-body coping skills set the tone for an engaging and collaborative day.

I Am Safe Practices for Community Mental Health!

We were recently honored to attend a 30-minute follow-up Lunch & Learn with Hennepin County Public Health—one month after they hosted an I Am Safe workshop. Participants were invited to reconnect and share how they’d been integrating mind-body practices into their personal and professional lives.

Celebrating Garden City Elementary!

We are highlighting our amazing model school Garden City Elementary this week! We’ve had the honor of supporting them over the past two years through two grants – from Hennepin County Statewide Health Improvement Project (SHIP) and PrairieCare. Thanks to these funders, Garden City has truly become a movemindfully model school!

It’s Here!

I’m excited to announce that my book, I Am Safe is here! Since 2018 I have been transforming the real life stories from my teaching in hospitals, juvenile services, and special education settings into a practical and accessible guidebook. My hope is that I Am Safe inspires mental health advocacy and activism in our communities and expands this important work.
